The beginning...

This is actually my 2nd cake from my first cake decorating course.

Here starts my cake decorating classes. What fun they have been. It really amazes me that myself, with not one creative bone in my body can make a plain cake into something beautiful and fun.

My first cake experiences

So for fun I tried making some birthday cakes for my kids. Who wants to pay $24 for a grocery store birthday cake thats probably been sitting in the cooler for days? I can do this I tell myself. My 11 year old decides she wants High School Musical...really...how hard could it be? I began with a white cake, made a few red squares on it, added some musical notes on a bar, added the letters H, S, M on it and walah! A high school musical cake! Pretty impressive I must say...
